Triton launches 240 LTS

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. –Triton Boats has launched the new 240 Light Tackle Series (LTS), a 24-foot center console bay boat with a 8.5-foot beam.

The 240 LTS is built with a high-performance pad bottom hull and angler-friendly interior. It rates for outboards ranging from 200 through 350 hp and has a fuel capacity of 96 gallons.

With a draft of only 13 inches, Triton says the 240 LTS is capable of slipping into shallow rivers and tidal backwaters where trophy redfish, stripers and snook lurk; yet its incredibly soft, dry ride make it suitable for the occasional offshore fishing foray as well.

“When we introduced our state-of-the-art, 26-foot 260 LTS PRO bay boat last year, we were immediately deluged with requests from saltwater anglers for a similar boat in the popular 24-foot format,” Triton President Earl Bentz explained. “Our engineering staff went to work designing and tooling the 240 LTS from the ground up, incorporating a host of exciting performance and fishing features that make it the most capable 24-foot bay boat on the water.”

Additional highlights include a wide front casting deck, featuring a boat panel with 6-gauge trolling motor wiring; a 64-gallon fish box in the front deck; port and starboard rear jump seats in the rear deck; a 60-gallon aerated livewell; a 12-gallon baitwell; an ergonomic fiberglass center console with a Plexiglass windshield, battery switch, 12-volt accessory plug and an Edson stainless steel steering wheel; military-spec waterproof switches with waterproof LED indicator lights; and more.

Bentz also indicated that the Triton 240 LTS features Full-Width Tri-Core wood-free composite construction and the company’s exclusive Zero Flex fully foamed stringer grid system. Seats, cleats and rod holders are mounted with glassed-in aluminum backing plates. The boat comes with a custom swim platform and an integrated boarding ladder, and carries a limited lifetime hull warranty.

The new 240 LTS is available exclusively at authorized Triton dealers. For additional information, visit www.tritonboats.com or call 1-888-8TRITON.
