Maryland trade group elects new president, board members

The Marine Trades Association of Maryland has elected Eric Bradley, Oasis Marinas, to serve as president of the statewide organization.  This is the first year of a two year term as President of the Association.

“I look forward to serving with this diverse group and working together to promote Maryland’s marine industry and its boating interests,” Bradley said. “Maryland is the best destination for recreational boating and for working in the maritime industry and there is much we can do to promote that fact.”

Bradley began working on the water in his high school years, first as a deckhand and then as a captain at Chesapeake Marine Tours (now Watermark). He transitioned into marina operations in 1996 when he joined Annapolis Landing Marina. From there, Bradley joined Coastal Properties Management, where he opened and oversaw the marina at National Harbor for five years.  In 2012, he returned home to Annapolis and managed the marina portfolio of Jerome J. Parks. Bradley is now with Oasis Marinas, a full service marina management firm, where Eric overseas marina operations.

MTAM also elected the following new board members for three year terms:

  • Jane Tayman, Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager and Loan Officer, Trident Funding Corporation
  • Dirk Schwenk, Attorney, BayLaw LLC.
  • Patrick Callahan, Worton Creek Marina.
  • Will Richards, Spring Cove Marina, Solomons.
