Technomarine Yachts adds two brokers

Technomarine Yachts Inc., announced Wednesday it has added two brokers to its team.

Craig Williams brings with him over 39 years of experience in the yachting industry, including 20 years as founder, co-owner and vice president of operations at Lazarra Yachts in Tampa.

While there he met deadlines and deliveries of more than 152 semi-custom yachts while managing the operations of the company’s $120 million in annual sales. He was directly responsible for all plant operations including manufacturing, purchasing, maintenance and personnel and he also worked closely with the accounting and engineering departments to meet or exceed their budgets.

Ricardo Ruelos has also joined the Technomarine sales team as a yacht broker. Most recently he was founder and CEO of Madison Bay Holdings, a company that specialized in providing services including sales, marketing and consulting as well as product development and financial services to some of the most prestigious and successful boat companies in the industry. He also served as CEO of Westship World Yachts, a manufacturer of luxury yachts ranging from 110 to 140 feet in length.

Both brokers will be based in Technomarine Yacht’s new sales location at Twin Dolphin Marina, located on the Manatee River in Bradenton, Fla. This will be the flagship marina for Technomarine Group on the west coast of Florida; they will substantially upgrade the facility to accommodate bigger and more luxurious yachts in addition to the millions of dollars going into upgrading the existing location.

“By adding Craig and Ricardo to the brokerage team as well as having them based out of our new location on the west coast of Florida means we can better serve our growing customer base in that region,” said Technomarine Yachts president Dennis Close. “In just a short period of time, we expect to be well established in the Gulf of Mexico and really look forward to working with our growing list of clients there.”
