Four leading boat dealers will share their best ideas for business success at the Dealer-to-Dealer: Best Ideas Panel at the 2015 Marine Dealer Conference & Expo.
The four finalists for the Best Idea of the Year will offer insight on the marketing ideas that have worked to grow their dealerships in a panel discussion moderated by Boating Industry editor-in-chief Jonathan Sweet.
“MDCE is all about helping dealers improve their businesses, and these four dealers all have implemented proven, actionable ideas that do just that,” Sweet said.
The Dealer-to-Dealer: Best Ideas Panel will be 10:15-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, as part of the Marketing Track at MDCE.
This year’s four finalists are:
- Evan Davis, OneWater Marine Holdings, presenting on the company’s Pandora Internet Radio promotion
- Mary Jo Goettling, Blue Springs Marine, presenting on the company’s Accessories Sales Program
- Ryan Hebert, Texas Marine, presenting on the dealership’s new Business Development Center
- Mark Helgen, Lake Union Sea Ray, presenting on the dealership’s boat show demos and website strategy
Attendees of the session will vote to select the Best Idea of the Year. The winner will receive a $500 American Express gift card, free registration for MDCE 2016 and recognition at the MDCE Awards Breakfast.
The Best Ideas Panel is one of four Dealer-to-Dealer sessions at the 2015 MDCE, designed to help attendees tap into the collective intelligence of the 600 plus marine dealer professionals at the event. One of these facilitator-led sessions will take place in each educational track, featuring dealer ideas and conversations on what’s working and not working in today’s market.
