Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. introduces new Western U.S. boat builder district sales manager
BREA, Calif. – Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) announced that it has hired industry veteran Robert Grantham as its Western boat builder district sales manager (DSM). Grantham will be responsible for sales of Suzuki outboard motors to boat builders west of the Mississippi, plus Illinois and Wisconsin.
In his new role, Grantham will be responsible for enhancing existing customer relationships, as well as developing business with new boat builders within his territory. His previous experience in marketing and management with both engine manufacturers and boat builders makes him particularly well-suited to handle Suzuki’s growing OEM business portfolio. Grantham will also work closely with Suzuki Marine’s Dealer Group DSMs to encourage sales of Suzuki-powered boat packages through Suzuki’s extensive dealer network. Grantham will report to Max Kelley, manager of Suzuki’s boat builder business group.
