Norwalk Boat Show reports 9 percent attendance increase

More than 14,000 visitors attended this year’s Progressive Insurance Norwalk Boat Show, show organizers said.

That was a 9 percent increase over 2014 for the show, held September 25-27 at the Norwalk Cove Marina.

Several exhibitors had good things to say about the show, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, which produces the show.

“We were very successful at this year’s show. Great quality attendees made for one of the best shows we’ve had in years!” said Matthew Barbara, Marinemax.
“This was our second year at the Norwalk Boat Show and we were very pleased to be back,” said Tom Hiuliares, Ferretti Yachts.
“We had a lot of interest and saw good, quality attendees. We’re already looking forward to next year!” said Mike McGrarry, Cruisers Yachts.
