Crusader Engines announced this week that its Challenger series has been chosen by Wake Tractor as its exclusive engine provider.

With the tagline “Not every rider has a millionaire Daddy,” Wake Tractor’s WT-1 model, retail priced at $39,995, is redefining the value priced boat in the wakeboard industry by offering only the essentials needed to produce a good wake.
“The wake industry was built around the millennial segment starting in the late ’90s and today they are independent young adults who still love wake sports,” said John Dorton, chairman of Bryant Boats. “They like value, simplicity, and hassle-free ownership. We feel that Crusader’s Challenger series is the perfect power partner because it offers all three.”
Crusader Engines is part of the Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PEG), which is owned by Correct Craft. Crusader’s Challenger series of engines are focused on the towsports industry and custom tailored to meet specific manufacturer needs.
“Our team could not be happier to partner with John and Ben on the innovative new Wake Tractor,” said Mark McKinney, Pleasurecraft Engine Group vice president. “The outstanding quality and performance of the Challenger engines will be the perfect fit for Wake Tractor and ensure its customers have years of great engine reliability!”
