Four Winns intros new boat models at Cannes

Four Winns announced several new 2016 products at the Cannes Yachting Festival Wednesday, hosted by the management team from Rec Boat Holdings and one of the newest premiere French dealers for the brand, Massif Marine Groupe.

The all-new Vista 255, a trailerable pocket cruiser, was the flagship of the show for Four Winns, followed closely by the new family tow sports model, the TS 222.

“There is a void in the market for this style product, especially in overseas markets,” stated Roch Lambert, President at Rec Boat Holdings.  “The design was largely influenced by our dealers in order to hit the market with the right boat.  The Vista 255 fills the gap perfectly.”

The Vista 255 packs plenty of space and amenities in its compact 25’2” size.  This new vessel maximizes every square inch to satisfy the weekend boater needing that cruiser feel without the limitations of where you boat.  The 8’5” beam allows for easy trailering, with the Four Winns custom trailer available as standard equipment.  The Stable-Vee® hull design provides a smooth ride in any sea with plenty of style from bow to stern.  Climb aboard the Vista 255 and take in the spacious cockpit and helm area featuring plenty of amenities including a refreshment center, port dinette that converts to lounge seating and AM/FM stereo sound system with helm remote.  Step into the roomy cabin, with 1.92m (6’3”) of headroom, and your choice of beautiful dark cherry or light maple cabinetry, enclosed head, spacious mid cabin with queen-sized bed, and plenty of storage for all the weekend gear.  The new Vista 255 is powered with Volvo Penta or Mercruiser power options, 250-300 HP.  Plenty of upgrades and options are available to make the new Vista 255 suited to individual needs and tastes.

On the heels of the new cruiser launch, Four Winns also premiered, for the first time overseas, the brand new TS222, a perfect alternative to the more “traditional” tow boat.  The TS222 delivers several benefits in a no-compromise craft for the water sports enthusiast.  Matched with the all-new Volvo Penta Forward Drive Propulsion System (FWD), drivers and passengers alike will enjoy all the benefits of a tow boat experience; but, with better overall ride quality, improved slow speed maneuverability and more usable cockpit space.  The efficient Volvo Penta FWD system delivers superior responsiveness, acceleration, fuel economy and versatility – a perfect match for the Four Winns TS222.  The all-new TS series will grow this fall with the introduction of the TS242, the big brother to the TS222, featuring more space and an enclosed head – a first in this segment.
