Sea Tow and Anheuser-Busch distributor form boating safety partnership

Sea Tow Charlotte Harbor, providing professional on-water assistance to boaters in Florida’s Charlotte Harbor and the Peace and Myakka rivers, is proud to announce it has received 120 new life jackets from local Anheuser-Busch distributor, Peace River Distributing, Inc. of Punta Gorda, Florida, as the result of a new boating safety partnership between the two businesses. These life jackets will be used to stock the Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Stations that Sea Tow Charlotte Harbor maintains throughout the local area so boaters may borrow them, free of charge, to replace missing or ill-fitting life jackets for a safer day of boating.

“We’re excited about this partnership with Sea Tow that gives us the opportunity to extend our responsibility message from our roadways to our waterways,” said Peace River Distributing President Chris Wenzel.

“We appreciate this generous donation by Peace River Distributing,” said Sea Tow Charlotte Harbor Owner, Capt. Mike DeGenaro. “Life jackets save lives, and our new boating safety partnership will help our local Sea Tow members and other boaters to stay safe and protect their family members and guests aboard their boats while they are on the water.”
