Sail America moving Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show

Sail America announced the Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show, the largest and oldest in-water sailboat show on the West Coast, will move to the historic Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, Calif., beginning in April 2016. This new location will host the 21st Annual Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show set to take place April 7 through 10, 2016. Richmond’s historic waterfront offers an awe-inspiring panorama of the San Francisco Bay and the San Francisco skyline. The new location will allow the show to increase its capacity to more than 100 in-water sailboats and 200-plus exhibits for boats and marine accessories on land.

“This expansive new location will provide Sail America with the capacity to expand this show even more to further promote the growth of recreational sailing on the West Coast,” said Sail America Association Manager Peter Durant. “We are excited to move the show to Richmond into this spacious marina and beautiful indoor venue to accommodate the demand from our exhibitors and consumers for more expansive indoor and outdoor spaces.”

Craneway Pavilion is a 45,000 square-foot facility in an award-winning, architecturally significant former Ford Assembly Plant building dating back to 1931, with an adjoining 20,000 square-foot open-air patio, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. Set on 25 waterfront acres, the spacious and open design, together with its picturesque location; make this the ideal setting for the show. In addition, the newly renovated 40,000 square-foot conference center features a large general session area and four separate breakout rooms ideally suited for our seminar series.
