Carefree Boat Club member starts new Milwaukee location

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – After two years as members of the Lake Norman Carefree Boat Club, Justin and Oxana Wolff are leaving. They are leaving because they love it so much, so much that they are partnering with Justin’s father, brother and sister to start a new Carefree Boat Club in Milwaukee.

Two years ago Justin and Oxana moved to Charlotte to manage the southeast region of a vending business he, his father and two siblings started in 2001. In planning the move they learned about the beautiful boating on Lake Norman and the Carefree Boat Club. Justin has many wonderful memories boating with his family originally on Lake Arlington in Texas and later in Chicago. The day after they moved to Charlotte they joined the club.

Wolff said, “I wanted to provide Oxana and our children similar wonderful boating experiences like my dad provided for us. However, managing our business and raising a family gave me concern about the investment of time and money to own a boat. The Carefree Boat Club has been a perfect fit for us, allowing us to enjoy boating with less time and investment than owning a boat. Plus we’ve enjoyed returning home to Chicago and using boats at the Carefree Boat Club there.”

Justin and Oxana loved the concept so much they encouraged their family members to start a club. This year the idea gained momentum, and their father, Roland Wolff, began leading the initiative. Justin’s sister and brother-in-law live in Milwaukee, and after researching the market the family team decided Milwaukee is the right location for their boat club.

“Our location at the convergence of the three major rivers in Milwaukee provides quick access to popular river cruising, tubing, skiing and fun restaurants as well as entrance to Lake Michigan. The shores of Milwaukee provides some of Lake Michigan’s best fishing”, said Roland Wolff.

“Providing our members the opportunity to make wonderful boating memories like our family did growing up, makes this business venture particularly meaningful to us,” added Justin.

Lake Norman Carefree Boat Club owner, Marc Graveline, said, “Though it is sad that Justin and Oxana will no longer be our members, it is extremely satisfying knowing that their experience in our Lake Norman club was so positive that they are taking the concept and starting one in another location. That’s about the best compliment we could receive!”

The club is opening with a Sea Ray 260 Sundancer, a Bryant Calandra bowrider, a Bryant Speranza bowrider and a Sailfish center console. More boats will be added as the membership grows.
