MyTaskit’s Find a Pro feature enables consumers using the MyTaskit application-–a free web app accessible via any desktop or mobile device-–to search for a service technician based on various certifications, skill set, expertise, a business name and/or location. Customers can further narrow their searches by adding a city or state. Location services and other advanced search and matching features are to be added this year.

Similarly, at no cost, marine and other businesses using MyTaskit Pro can create profiles detailing their service offerings, which customers can preview when selecting a service technician through the new Find a Pro feature. The free business profiles can include photos or videos of their business, team and company events. They can also allow businesses to create a public or private online community for their customers. For an added subscription fee, the MyTaskit Pro Coordination Module provides online service coordination for businesses to connect and deal with prospective customers online.

For service pros utilizing the free profile, they will receive only the service tasks customers create via email. Customers can even upload photos or videos to describe work needing to be done.
