Boatbound, Sandboxx partner for free military boat rides
As a salute to our 23 million veterans this Memorial Day, Sandboxx members in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Washington, D.C. will be selected for free boat rides provided by members of the Boatbound community who’ve donated their boats.
“Sandboxx is excited to work with Boatbound in what we hope will be the first of many future Memorial Day events that get our service members and their families out on-the-water through boats donated by the Boatbound boat owner community,” said Sam Meek, Marine Corps veteran and founder of Sandboxx.
“This Memorial Day we’re proud to support and give back to veterans everywhere and can’t think of a better partner than Sandboxx to make it happen. We are excited to honor those who fought to keep the waters we all love safe to enjoy for generations to come.” said Aaron Hall, founder of Boatbound.
In addition to the free boat rides, all veterans (or their families) can save $50 off any boat rental made through Memorial Day by entering the code VETERAN at checkout on Boatbound.
