Kenyon International achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification

Kenyon International, Inc., manufacturer of cooking appliances for the marine, RV and hospitality industries, today announced it has received ISO 9001:2008 certification for the design and distribution of its products.  ISO, or International Organization for Standardization, is a network of national standards institutes from 163 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives.

Certification to ISO 9001:2008 requires an accredited third party auditing organization to thoroughly review the Company’s internal quality management system processes, to ensure that they are capable of consistently delivering a service that meets customers’ needs and expectations.  Though recently certified, the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) standard has been the basis for Kenyon’s internal QMS for a  number of years, as many of its customers are in highly regulated industries, which require their own compliance standards.

“As one of the leading cooking appliance providers, it is quite natural that we are at the forefront in achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification,” said Phil Williams, President of Kenyon.  “And as a strategic partner to our customers, it is only fitting that we help them save time and money by officially becoming certified, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to a strong culture of quality.”
