Larson Boat Group adds depth to the executive management team

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. – Larson Boat Group (LBG) has added, Gary Zimmer, as Vice President Product Development and Engineering to the executive team of the Little Falls, MN based company.

Prior to joining Larson Boat Group, Zimmer worked for Brunswick Corp, at Sea Ray Boats serving in multiple capacities, most recently as Vice President, Operations. While at Sea Ray, Zimmer too held leadership positions in product development and engineering quality, customer service, and manufacturing technology.

Rob Parmentier, President and CEO of Larson Boat Group said, “Gary’s leadership, process-driven methodology along with his engineering and marine knowledge are key assets we needed in Little Falls to add to the executive leadership team at LBG.” “I know Gary will be a welcomed addition to the organization and my leadership team and be instrumental in our continued turnaround of this storied company and collection of great brands,” added Parmentier.

Zimmer will be based in Little Falls, MN with his family. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy earning a BS in engineering. After serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Gary received his MS degree in Total Quality from Friends University and a MBA from Purdue University’s Krannert Graduate School of Management.

  1. Well welcome all new members, of the larson boat group. Will the 2016 285 cabrio have any major changes, or will that be awhile. How would the larson 285 match up to the other leading manufacturers.
