Video: MarineMax on Wall Street to ring NYSE opening bell

MarineMax, Inc. senior management, including founder and CEO Bill McGill, rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange this morning in celebration of the 110th annual New York Boat Show.

MarineMax began publically trading under the ticker symbol HZO on the NYSE in June 1998.

“With a recovering economy, we are poised to capitalize on this year’s boat show season,” McGill said. “I can’t think of a better way to kick off the New York Boat Show, considered the oldest and longest running show in the country, than by ringing the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange. Through the downturn, we worked hard to assure that MarineMax remained strong and stayed committed to taking care of our customers and team members.  We are looking forward to a strong New York Boat Show as we continue through a busy boat show season.”

Today’s ringing of the Opening Bell highlighted MarineMax’s participation in the New York Boat Show, which takes place January 21 – 25, 2015 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan’s storied and gentrified Hell’s Kitchen.
