KENNESAW, Ga. — Yamaha Marine Group today announced the addition of four new product training modules to its world-class training curriculum through Yamaha Marine University™ Online. A related live training session is scheduled in Fort Lauderdale on January 28 in preparation for the 2015 Miami International Boat Show®.
New outboard modules include the V MAX SHO® Marine Outboard Walk-Around (including the latest 2015 V MAX SHO 115, V MAX SHO 175 and the V MAX SHO 150/250 X-Shaft offerings), the F150 Marine Outboard Walk-Around and the Portable Outboards Walk-Around. Finally, the 2015 Helm Master® module, which now includes F200 and Quad applications*, rounds out the latest training curriculum available to Yamaha dealers.
“With the launch of several new products that bring outboard options to a wider range of boats, it was imperative that we offer our dealers and service professionals access to the best training available,” said Martin Peters, Manager of Dealer Education, Yamaha Marine Group. “Our new self-paced 2015 product walk-throughs build on core knowledge with comprehension checks along the way to reinforce the new information. With over 2,200 product course completions in the past year, Yamaha strives to have the best trained dealers in the industry.”
Yamaha Marine will also offer live training in advance of the 2015 Miami International Boat Show®. David Meeler, Yamaha Product Information Manager, and Valerie Ziebron, Yamaha Marine University Instructor, will provide new product and boat show training to Miami-area authorized Yamaha Dealers. The live training comes on the heels of two successful product and boat show training sessions in the Midwest, which were attended by over 200 Yamaha dealers.
