Correct Craft announces expansion, hiring plans

Correct Craft will spend $8 million to expand its Nautique boat building facility and add more than 200 employees to its Florida workforce, the company announced Friday during a visit by Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

The company announced the imminent opening of its second Aktion Parks cable and boat park, Miami Watersports Complex, joining the existing park in Orlando.

Scott visited the company’s Nautique plant in Orlando and applauded the Nautique team on its growth the past four years and the positive impact the company has had on the Florida economy. He also congratulated the team on its recent Florida “Manufacturer of the Year” award and lauded the company’s announcement of both the building expansion and future growth plans.

“Our team is thrilled to have Governor Scott visit us again and recognize the incredible results of our team. We are fortunate to operate in a business friendly State that supports our efforts to expand internationally,” said Correct Craft president and CEO Bill Yeargin. “I am incredibly honored to be part of such an unbelievable team; we truly have a unique culture which results in both a fun and high performance environment and is a big driver of our results.“
