New 1965 brings novel features to Lund’s Pro Guide line

NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. — Since its inception as the true fishing boat in 1948, Lund has constantly given anglers the ultimate in “fishability.” The new 1675 Pro Guide continues in these footsteps with more innovative features and fishability at its core.

“The 1675 Pro Guide is the smallest member of our popular Pro Guide tiller series,” says Tony Kolker, Lund marketing manager. “This mid-year boat launch has really started to catch our customer’s eyes with its newly designed Pro Command Console, integrated tackle storage, two rod lockers, and spacious and comfortable interior. Add in the self-storing electronics locker and superior boat control and you really have the perfect boat for anglers who prefer a tiller control.”

At 16-feet, 9-inches in length and rated for up to a 75 hp tiller engine, the 1675 Pro Guide offers ample room for up to six passengers. This new model comes with added features that include a new easy-access side rod locker for rods up to 8-foot, 6-inches, a center rod locker for 7-foot rods and an aft 35-inch (16-gallon) Pro-Long livewell with bait bucket, light and timer. Another feature that is new to this model is the redesigned Pro Command Console. It offers a tackle storage area with three tackle trays, a drawer with bait cooler and a collapsible electronics shelf that locks and stores your electronics.

There’s also an optional bow baitwell and Infinity Stereo with Bluetooth option. Meanwhile, massive bow storage keeps the spacious cockpit free and clear of your gear.

The 1675 Pro Guide is constructed with a heavy-duty bottom (0.080 gauge) and a double plated bow (0.160 thick). It also features Lund’s patented Integrated Power Strake (IPS) hull with a flat center pad for quicker acceleration, and reverse chines for added stability and superior boat control. For the walleye, bass or muskie angler who likes to stretch out and back-troll or cast from a large bow, the 1675 Pro Guide performs like no other, offering tremendous fishability in rough and calm waters alike.

“The 1675 Pro Guide was engineered and built with the serious angler in mind,” says Lund Pro-Staff and full-time guide, Tony Roach. “I absolutely love this boat. Its layout is perfect. Everything is always within comfortable reach-electronics, bait, tackle, and rods-keeping you focused on boat control and the fish at all times. I can’t imagine a better, more decked out fishing boat for its size and price. Pro Guides always hold their value, making them a great long-term investment.”

Built with professional grade materials and offering maximum fishing performance, the 1675 Pro Guide is loaded with legendary Lund personality-rugged durability, rock-solid reputation and “fishability” galore.
