Striper launches new 200CC center console

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. — Larson Boat Group announces the introduction of Striper Boats new 20-foot center console that feels and fishes bigger than its stature looks. According to Rob Parmentier, President and CEO of Larson Boat Group, “The Striper 200CC comes at you with an “I Am Ready Attitude.” As you approach the boat, the first thing you notice is the aggressive sheer line. This provides the boat with a big stance in the water for a very dry ride. Moving mid-ship towards the stern from the sweeping bow flair, the sheer line straightens out to give the 200C big fishability and noticeable personality. Parmentier concluded, “I challenged our design and engineering group to give me a boat with attitude…and the Striper 200CC accomplishes that.”

The new 20′ 0″, 200CC is built with our one-piece Fibercore™ hand-laid composite stringer system construction providing the owner and passengers a solid boat with added support and reduced vibration. The 200CC hull employees Striper’s V-trac™ hull design for maximum steering control while minimizing shaking and porpoising. The 200CC using a very large chine area, 6″, for improved handling, stability and control in search of that perfect fishing spot.

With power options from Mercury, Evinrude, or Yahama, the Striper 200CC is sure to put you on the fish in no time. The 200CC engine options range from 115hp to a max of 200hp, providing the owner with enough engine power to get you to the fish fast and safely. An industry leading 91-gallon fuel capacity for a 20-foot center console ensures huge range to cover the largest of water surface you desire to fish. The 200CC has a large bilge access panel, to diagnose and service your boat for ease of maintenance.

Battery and pump access is conveniently located under the removable starboard jump seat, held in place with a pressure latch. When the seat is removed, the additional 6″ put you closer to the fish fighting action. Found on the port side, is the standard 16-gallon bait well station with cutting board lid. Just in front of this bait well station is an additional jump seat. Transom optional equipment includes: a bait prep table or center transom flip-up seat with back rest (available when the optional leaning post bait well is not chosen).

There are two large, 12-gallon, with macerator fish boxes found port and starboard in the cockpit floor maximizing space of not normally found in a 20-foot center console. Those fish boxes are prepped and ready after you catch your fish using the integrated toe keepers and padded side rails. Built-in gunnel port and starboard rod storage keeps your equipment ready for use and out of the way while running to your next fishing ground.

A huge center console with lockable, front door entry serves as the central command station for this fishing machine. A large console with room for up to two 10″ graphics, a stainless-steel steering wheel with turning knob, tall windscreen and a 12-volt receiver are ready to take you where the fish are. The lockable center console compartment comes standard with plenty of storage for your gear or option for the portable head. Standard is a white power coated leaning post with foot rest, and 54-quart carry-on cooler. Plan on fishing all-day, add the optional 45-gallon leaning post baitwell with integrated rocket launchers for your gear easily accessible to hook that keeper. Add the optional T-Top and rocket launchers with either canvas or fiberglass hardtop for a full day of serious fishing.

When the day is done, and you, are head back to shore with a hard fought victory, the 200CC has comfortable amenities such as two 24-gallon fish boxes forward, your days catch has a home for the ride back to the dock. Add optional forward bow seating cushions and side combing pads for a seating area when others might not want to fish, but rather relax or sun. For that complete all-day on the water for all passengers, add the optional bow filler cushion to the optional bow cushions and pads to make a sunpad for a complete entertaining or relaxing space onboard this feels bigger than 20-foot center console. Access to the boat from the dock or water is easy, with a starboard, swing door walk-thru transom door that doubles as a backrest.

After your fish boxes are full, the standard transom bait well is empty and you are heading back to shore, the standard galvanized trailer is ready to carry your boat and catch home. “The new 200CC is a compact, fishing machine that will allow Striper owners to get on the fish and stay on the fish with creator comforts found on larger center consoles to spend the afternoon on the water with family and friends, outside of fishing,” said Ron Sahr, Larson Boat Group Director of Engineering.
