IMBC Opens With Busy Oktoberfest Style Reception

Fort Lauderdale, FL—The International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) opened last night with an increase in pre-registered attendees and a busy Oktoberfest style reception on the exhibit floor. More than 130 booths made the exhibit floor the perfect location for IMBC’s opening networking event. More than 650 participants are expected to attend this year’s conference, which continues through February 1 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

“A sold out exhibit floor combined with our new beer tasting created a good buzz for the start of the show” says Gary Groenewold, CMM, AMI Chairman. “Participants had a chance to talk to our industry’s vendors, network with their peers, and take part in our beer tasting and Oktoberfest style food pairing.”

IMBC will continue today and tomorrow with an exhibit hall, networking events, and educational seminars, including a keynote address later this morning by professional speaker and author John Spence.

Full- conference, one-day, and exhibit-hall only passes are available at the conference. Those who wish to attend can register on the first level of the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center at IMBC’s registration desk outside Hall A.
