Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
MERRIMACK, N.H. – Marine electronic manufacturer Raymarine won the “Best New Product” award at the 2011 Newport International Boat Show for its e7 multifunction display.
The e7 mimics a wifi server, allowing boaters to stream live video through Apple mobile devices, like the iPhone and iPhone. With the e7, anyone within WiFi range can see whatever is on the display for the e7, like thermal video, navigation charts, radar, and more.
There were 32 new boating products in this year’s competition. The e7’s wireless technology and connectivity helped it secure the 2011 honors.
