MIAMI – The Flagstone’s Island Gardens project, approved by voters in 2001, finally won approval of the Florida cabinet, according to Miami News Today.
The project, a luxury hotel, retail, and megayacht marina complex to be built on the public-owned Watson Island, has been delayed 10 years because the terms of the agreement between the developer and the Florida cabinet couldn’t be agreed upon.
With the unanimous agreement by the cabinet, the $54 million project only waits on approval by the Miami city commissioners. To find out more about this story, go to Miami Today News.
