Vintage expo in Michigan attracts crowd

HOLLAND, Mich. — The sixth annual Vintage Holland Boat Show took place over the weekend, attracting more than 1,000 visitors during the one-day event.

The show displayed 41 vessels, with at least 20 that were new to the show. Boats that are featured are by invite-only and come from throughout the state.

The show also included representatives from Michigan-based boat builders. According to an article in the Holland Sentinel, ChrisCraft founder Christopher Columbus Smith had several progeny at the event, including a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
