Yacht service center coming to Fort Myers Beach
LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Diversified Yacht Services is building a 60,000 square foot service yard in Fort Myers Beach. The anticipated opening date is July 2012. Construction began in December 2010.
When complete, the state-of-the-art building will service vessels up to 120-feet long. A dock will host about 20 boats.
“(What you see now is) 20 to 25 percent of the mass of what that building will be in the coming months,” Ryan Levi of Diversified Yacht Services told WBBH News. “A lot of people have been working on this for a long time, so it’s just exciting.”
