Bay City, Mich. – ADESA Auctions has acquired Great Lakes (RV/Marine/Powersports) Auctions, renamed it as ADESA Great Lakes, and the company is hosting a grand opening event for August 9, 2011, at the ADESA Great Lakes location in Bay City, Mich.
The ADESA-run auction will remain a dealer-only auction, and dealers can now bid-in-the-lane, via live simulcast or electronic proxy bidding
“Our goal is to be the best specialty (RV/Marine/Powersports) auction in the world,” said ADESA Michigan General Manager Ken Gillespie. “This grand opening is the kick-off for many great things in store for specialty dealers and consigners.”
ADESA Great Lakes Auction Manager Matthew Zientak and his team have been working hard the past weeks, and the company says that its sale on August 9th has already eclipsed the previous biggest sale in number of units (215 as of Monday morning) offered for the year.
The auction will host a monthly sale every second Tuesday with a variety of vehicles from national consignors and local dealers. ADESA Great Lakes is located at 573 S.
