Premier Marine closes on acquisitions
WYOMING, Minn. – Pontoon manufacturer Premier Marine has announced that it closed its acquisition of Weeres Industries and Palm Beach Marinecraft on July 29.
“The purchase of these two strong brands will further expand Premier’s selection of pontoon boats to our dealers,” said Tom Menne, newly-appointed vice president of Palm Beach/Weeres and former vice president of Premier.
Weeres Industries acquired Palm Beach Marinecraft in 1985. Both companies manufacture pontoon boats, swimming rafts and water bikes. The two brands will continue to run as independent businesses and will still operate out of their New Ulm, Minn., facility. Weeres and Palm Beach will retain their names, while being wholly owned subsidiaries of Premier Marine Inc.
