Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
BALTIMORE — Marinalife, a full-service online concierge service for boaters, has opened its online voting for its 2011 Best Marinas Contest.
Voting is open Aug. 1-Oct. 15, and Marinalife members and boaters may vote for the Best Transient Marina and the Marina with the Best Customer Service.
The annual Best Marinas contest is a way for the active boating community to pay accolades to the marinas that contribute to their positive boating experiences throughout the season.
In 2010, the Nantucket Boat Basin in Nantucket, Mass., was voted as the Best Transient Marina and Haven Harbour Marina in Rock Hall, Md., was selected for Best Customer Service.
There are more than 8,600 marinas in the Marinalife database that cover the cruising areas of the U.S., Canada, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Central America, and they are all eligible to be selected as the 2011 Best Marinas. The winning marinas will be recognized at the Marinalife booth at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, reviewed in the Winter 2011-2012 issue of Marinalife Magazine and will receive a marketing package valued at $2,000.
