ValvTect treated more than 1 billion gallons of fuel last year

NORTHBROOK, Ill. – ValvTect Petroleum treated more than 1 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel with its ValvTect and Diesel Guard fuel additives last year, according to a ValvTect release.

“We are very proud to reach this milestone. It is especially gratifying since, due to the economy and high fuel prices, demand for gasoline and diesel is still off as much as 20 percent in some markets, including marine and over the road diesel fuel,” Jerry Nessenson, president of the manufacturer and supplier of fuel additives, said in the release.

According to the release, ValvTect aftermarket products – ValvTect Diesel Guard, AgriGuard and ThermoGuard brands – have major shares of the fleet, truck stop, farm fuel and heating oil markets.
