Yachtworld, YBAA partner for two more Yacht Brokerage Universities
SEATTLE – The Internet yacht brokerage portal Yachtworld is partnering with the Yacht Broker Association of America to co-present two Yacht Brokerage Universities in Mississauga, Ontario, and Seabrook, Texas, on Aug. 4 and Aug. 11, respectively, according to a Yachtworld release.
The event in Mississauga will be held at The Waterside Inn, while the Seabrook session will be at the Lakewood Yacht Club. Both one-day events will include panel discussions by industry experts and presentations on social media and the inventory management system Boat Wizard 2.0, according to the release.
Previously, Yachtworld and YBAA partnered for sessions in Providence, R.I., and Annapolis, Md.
“Our curriculum underwent substantial change and the feedback from brokers has been very positive. It’s exciting to introduce new educational opportunities to the industry to favorably impact brokers’ businesses,” Ian Atkins, vice president and general manger of YachtWorld, said in the release.
