KWAZULU-NATAL, South Africa — AquaQuad plans to bring its boats to the U.S. marine market, starting with a kick-off tour in August.
The company manufactures a range of outboard-powered personal utility watercraft from 10′ to 14′ for recreational boating, fishing, watersport and commercial applications.
The intro tour will include stops along the East Coast through the Midwest and south to Florida to show its craft to prospective dealers. The trip ends at the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo on Nov. 6-9 in Orlando, Fla., where the boats will also be on display and available for more demonstrations.
The company said it offers a comprehensive dealer program that includes a generous profit margin, low inventory requirement, dealer co-op fund and rebate system based on retail discounts and promotions. AquaQuad’s CEO, Oliver Nudds, is a former marine dealer.
“Dealers will be a big part of AquaQuad’s success, especially as we move into the U.S. market,” said Nudds. “With experience as a dealer, I know how they are traditionally treated, but we’re different and we fully support our dealer network.”
