IBEX 2011 now taking entries for Innovation Awards
CHICAGO – The National Marine Manufacturers Association is now accepting entries for the 2011 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) Innovation Awards, which will be presented during the show’s annual Industry Breakfast on Monday, Oct. 17, according to a NMMA release.
According to the release, Up to 13 new products and one Environmental Award will be recognized at IBEX 2011. Companies may submit products in the following categories:
Boatbuilding Methods & Materials
Deck Equipment and Hardware
Furnishings & Interior Parts
Mechanical Systems
Electrical Systems
Inboard Engines
Outboard Engines
Boatyard Hardware
Propulsion Parts, Propellers
Boat Care and Maintenance
OEM Electronics
Trailers, Parts and Trailer Accessories
Safety Equipment
Deadline for submissions is Sept. 20. IBEX Innovation Awards are judged by Boating Writers International; winners will be on display throughout IBEX on Oct. 17-19.
