SailTime adds catamarans to fleet

ANNAPOLIS, Md.– SailTime recently announced a partnership with Gemini Catamarans, extending the boat membership company’s offering to the catamaran market, according to a SailTime release.

With the partnership, SailTime’s goal is to introduce 10 catamarans for shared access to its bases across North America by the start of 2012, starting with the addition of a 34-foot Gemini 105Mc catamaran to the company’s Chesapeake Bay location in August.

The Gemini 105Mc has a sleeping room for up to eight people, double-sided work surface in the galley and a master cabin equipped with a roomy head and separate shower, according to the release.

“We’re extending our offering to catamaran sailors so they too can enjoy the benefits of our fractional share membership program. Partnering with Gemini Catamarans is a natural fit for us, and we are very excited to be working with them. They produce great quality boats that will be a perfect fit for our customers,” Todd Hess, CEO of SailTime, said in the release.
