Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia – Marina Industries Association of Australia’s Platinum Sponsor, Bellingham Marine, awarded an international scholarship to Craig Evans, executive director of Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia, to attend the British Marine Federation’s Advanced Marina Management course in February 2012, according to an MIAA release.
Being offered for the first time, the scholarship was offered to members of the MIAA; Evans bested three finalists to win the scholarship. He now also has the opportunity to attend the prerequisite Advanced Marina Management course, which is conducted by the British Marine Federation.
“Craig displays high professional standards and commitment to the industry and what he will bring back from his experience in the UK will be beneficial to him and our industry. I believe Craig will be an excellent MIAA ambassador in the UK,” John Spragg, general manager of Bellingham Marine, said in the release.
