LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — George Badcock has taken on the role of CEO at Hacker Boat Co., a manufacturer of classic mahogany motorboats in Lake George, according to a report from The Business Review.
Badcock will continue serving as the company’s chairman.
Badcock, through a holding company called Erin Investments LLC, bought out the interest owned by former president and CEO Lynn Wagemann. The two had been working closely together since Erin Investments bought into the company in 2009.
“Lynn’s contributions to the company have been significant and he will be missed,” Badcock said in a statement. “We wish him continued success in his future endeavors.”
The 60-person company recently built a 32,000-square-foot production facility and is actively recruiting dealers and representatives worldwide.
