EDGARTOWN, Mass. — George J. Rogers Jr. and Sheryl L. Roth Rogers recently acquired Edgartown Marine Inc. and Edgartown Marine Boat Services from long-time owners Tony Chianese and Maurice Dore.
“We looked long and hard for the right person to acquire our business,” Chianese said. “We wanted someone that understood the unique character of the Island, and the select clientele that we have developed solid business relations with over the past decades.”
The company is a full-service, year-round boat yard, with one of the largest indoor and outdoor boat storage facilities on Martha’s Vineyard.
George Rogers and his wife Sheryl Roth Rogers come to the business with a background in finance and marketing.
“We look forward to meeting with our clients and our prospective clients, and continuing to expand the services offered to boaters on Martha’s Vineyard,” Rogers said.
