ATLANTA — Siemens Industry Inc. recently opened a third marine service location in Houma, La., according to a release from the company. The new site is devoted to servicing offshore supply vessels, ferries, cargo carriers and other ocean vessels.
Similar to its sister marine service locations in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Seattle, the new Gulf Coast location will serve both on-call and service contract customers.
“We are thrilled to add our Houma office because it is so close to our key offshore customers,” said David Grucza, business manager, Marine Solutions USA, Siemens Industry Inc. “This new location shows our commitment to these customers and to delivering excellent service.”
A dedicated marine service location, the new Houma-based office will offer a myriad of repair and spare parts services for automation, drives, motors, instrumentation and controls, as well as condition monitoring and part audits.
For less complex issues, Siemens offers a 24-hour staffed call center. More complicated issues are resolved by Siemens on-call emergency response assistance that provides service, parts and product support.
