Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
NEWPORT, Tenn. – Unified Marine Inc., makers of the SeaSense line of marine parts and accessories, is now offering what it says is a first in the marine industry — a limited lifetime warranty across its entire product line.
Starting June 1, SeaSense will replace products free of charge during their warranty period. The limited warranty for each product lasts for a stated number of years listed with each, which SeaSense says is the lifespan of the specific product. The offer excludes boat covers and boat seats.
“No other marine parts and accessories manufacturer has had the courage to take this step,” David Nirenberg, founder and CEO of Unified Marine, said in a statement. “However, we are so confident about the outstanding quality and durability of our entire line of products, that we’re proud to stand by them for as long as they’re in use. It’s one more way we’re making boating more enjoyable, while reducing the hassles. ”
As part of the campaign behind the announcement, SeaSense has completely redesigned its website, which will feature more information about its products, as well as tips and advice to help increase boating safety and enjoyment.
The announcement culminates several months of build-up that featured a series of advertisements, as well as the introduction of a new area of the SeaSense website as part of SeaSense’s “New Idea” marketing campaign. Visitors to the website were offered the chance to register for the new SeaSense newsletter, which will include information about new products, promotions and the company.
