Marinas International will run Pine Island Marina
FT. MEYERS, Fla. — Marinas International has assumed management of Pine Island Marina near Ft. Meyers, according to the company.
The company is managing the facility for a mortgage company that recently took control of the property. The marina has a large dry stack, wet slips and ships store as well as a very active boat launching ramp and ferry for private residents on the out islands. Part of the marina has been “dockominiumized” and Marinas International will assist ownership in managing the association as well.
Kirby Scheimann, the Florida Regional Manager for Marinas International, will be directly overseeing the marina operations.
“This is one of several marinas in Florida where we have been able to assist financial institutions in stabilizing assets and then repositioning them for sale,” said Scheimann.
“We currently have three marinas in Florida with several more in the pipeline for management and we are excited to be in a position to assist our clients and institutions. And not only in Florida, we recently took over Marina Del Sol on Clear Lake in the Houston metro area for a financial institution out of NYC,” said Jeff Rose, Marinas International Regional Manager for Texas.
