West coast shows coming up in April
OAKLAND, Calif. — Several boat shows are slated for the California coast this month, including Strictly Sail Pacific and Pacific Powerboat Expo and the Newport Boat Show.
The Strictly Sail/Pacific Powerboat event will take place in Oakland in Jack London Square. It’s a joint show, with both events run by separate companies, but one admission will cover both events. The shows will feature more than 300 businesses displaying goods. The show takes place April 14 to 17.
The Newport Boat Show will take place from April 28 to May 1 in Newport, Calif. The event will take place at Lido Marina Village — its site for the past 38 years. The event will show off nearly 250 large, luxury boats and yachts. The show spreads out for more than 400,000 square feet, floating dock exhibits and vendor display areas.
