LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, Penn. — A father and son team are the new owners of TowBoatUS Lake Wallenpaupack.
This branch of TowBoatUS, a subscription tow service for boats, will be operated by Charlie Trevor and his son, Kevin Trevor. The two also own New Wave in Recreation, a boat dealership in Lakeville, Penn.
This new TowBoatUS will use a 24-foot response boat located at Light House Harbor Marina on Wallenpaupack just east of Kipp Island. The vessel is fully rigged for marine towing and salvage work, and includes extra fuel, engine fluids, pump, and battery "jump pack" to handle dead batteries. The boat can be identified by its distinctive red hull, white bow stripes and "TowBoatUS" lettering along its sides.
