Galati Yacht Sales expands to the Great Lakes
QUEENSLAND, Australia — Maritimo Dealer Galati Yacht Sales will take the brand to the northern Great Lakes region with the opening of its first sales office in Michigan, according to a report from Maritimo.
Galati’s Great Lakes office will be in the new Yacht Basin Marina Plaza in the town of Holland on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan.
The new dealership will focus on new Maritimo sales and brokerage.
“It has become very clear to us that there is a strong link between the Gulf Coast in the south and the Great Lakes region,” Galati Yachts President Joe Galati said in a release. “Many of our customers have dual residences and our goal is to provide our north/south boaters with a one-source option for all of their yacht sales and brokerage needs.”
Maritimo CEO Bill Barry-Cotter applauded the move by Galati Yacht Sales.
“This is a positive expansion for us and for Galati,” he said. “Maritimo already has a strong contingent being enjoyed by Great Lakes boating enthusiasts.”
In 2010, Galati Yacht Sales was added to Boating Industry‘s Top 100 Hall of Fame after twice being named the top dealer in North America.
