HydroHoist offers college scholarship to MRA members

CLAREMORE, Okla. — HydroHoist Marine Group Inc. will offer college scholarships to members of the Marina Recreation Association, the group reported in a recent release.

MRA employees and children of marina members in good standing with Marina Recreation Association are eligible for the $1,000 scholarship.

HydroHoist has been offering the scholarships for more than twenty years to members of other marine associations.

“HydroHoist Marine Group takes great pride in offering scholarships for organizations like MRA. We view this as having long-term benefit to the people that support us and our industry,” Mick Webber, HydroHoist president and CEO, said in a statement.

The $1,000 scholarship ($500 per semester) is good toward tuition and books. An application can be found on the MRA website. Completed applications must be submitted by Sept. 1.
