IBBI presents Supplier of the Year awards
BENTON, Ill. — Independent Boat Builders Inc. presented Supplier of the Year awards at its annual purchasing conference earlier this month in St. Louis.
IBBI honored Foam Supplies, Inland Plywood and Piedmont Plastics as Supplier of the Year. Those companies were chosen on the basis of a survey completed by IBBI members, rating suppliers in six key categories. Those categories are product quality, customer service, delivery, technical service, accurate invoicing and warranty administration.
IBBI Controller Jodi Sanders said, “These three suppliers have provided outstanding service across the board to our members. It is only appropriate that they have been recognized for their efforts and awarded our Supplier of the Year distinction. Determining the winners each year is always a difficult task, because all of our sponsored suppliers show tremendous dedication to our membership and to the IBBI goals.”
IBBI also handed out Outstanding Partner Awards to companies that narrowly missed out on the top awards. Those recipients were: CH Robinson, Vectorply, Fin-Addict Marine and Syntec Industries.
After the trade show, members voted Syntec Industries the winner of the IBBI Innovation Award for their Spinning Steering Wheel Medallion.
