CAIRO, Egypt — As governments change over in North Africa, marine entrepreneurs are seeing new markets open up, according to an article in the New York Times.
UAE-based Gulf Craft, the Middle East’s largest luxury yacht manufacturer, is looking to set up a dealership in Egypt. Erwin Bamps, the COO of Gulf Craft, told the Times he sees pent-up demand in the region.
Gulf Craft isn’t alone at looking at Middle Eastern and North African markets. The article reports companies such as Italy’s Aimut and Germany’s Leurssen are also looking at the region as a growing market.
