Yamaha factories to suspend production temporarily

SHIZUOKA, Japan — Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. has released an operating plan for March 18 to March 23 that involves suspending production at several factories.

Outboard motor and PWC factories will be closed until March 23, in addition to motorcycle and automotive engine factories. ATV and golf cart production will also be suspended.

Boat, pool, intelligent machinery and unmanned aerial vehicle factories will continue to operate as usual.

Operating plans for March 24 and onward will be announced by March 23.
