SAVANNA, Ga. — The Freedom Boat Club franchises are alive and well in Savannah, according to an article in the Savannah Morning News about the local businesses.
The members-only Freedom Boat Club opened in Savannah in 2005 with four boats; it’s since grown to two locations and 25 boats. Like a timeshare, members don’t own individual boats, but have access to a fleet of maintained vessels. The cost per month is approximately $200.
The company started in Florida in 1989 and now has 60 locations in the US.
