Marina Recreation Association conference set
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Marina Recreation Association (MRA) has set a date, location and a preliminary schedule for its 40th annual conference. It’s also calling for presenters.
The event will take place on Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas at the Rio All Suite Hotel and will include a pre-conference golf tournament on Nov. 1. Those with an interest in presenting on a particular topic should contact MRA.
Planned seminar tracks are designed to appeal specifically to marina owners, managers, office or dock personnel, as well as boatyards. New for this conference is a Clean Marinas Program workshop with a step-by-step “How to Become a Certified Clean Marina” seminar, which will include a field trip to a local marina.
The Marina Recreation Association, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is an association of marina operators and trades for the Western United States, Hawaii, Mexico and Western Canada.
