Marine transportation company makes acquisition
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — BlueWater Marine Transport acquired Morgan Marine Transportation of Atlanta, according to a recent release from BlueWater.
The acquisition will increase BlueWater’s fleet size and add more specialized equipment, allowing it to ship larger vessels.
Matt Amata will serve as president of BlueWater, and Lisa Bauer will continue her role as general manager of the expanded company.
“Morgan Marine is a highly respected player in the marine transportation field,” said Amata in the release. “Their transportation service offerings complement BlueWater’s, and we look forward to continuing to offer the highest quality vessel transportation domestically and internationally. Morgan Marine shares the same commitment to customer service that we do.”
