Vectorply to release new laminate analysis software
PHEONIX CITY, Ala.—Vectorply Corporation, a manufacturer of high performance composite fabrics, will release its newest version of laminate analysis software, VectorLam Cirrus, on Feb. 2, according to a recent press release from the company.
“We have taken VectorLam to the next level,” said Trevor Gundberg, Vectorply’s director of composites engineering, in the release. “Our new Cirrus version expands on its already powerful laminate analysis capabilities while also providing the user with many more useful tools when comparing and evaluating stiffness, strength, weight and cost in our customer’s composite part.”
Vectorply will unveil VectorLam Cirrus during the Composites 2011 show in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Feb. 2-4. The software will be available as a free download at vectorply.com
